Frequently Asked Questions

Dragons (ages 6-7) train Monday and Wednesday from 4:30-5:00 PM. Juniors (ages 8-12) train Monday and Wednesday from 5:10-5:55 PM. Teens & Adults (ages 13+) train Tuesday and Thursday from 6:15-7:00 PM.

We offer a complimentary two-week trial membership that includes four classes. The classes don't need to be consecutive, so you can come at a pace that works for your schedule.

Yes, we encourage parents to observe class.

Please wear a t-shirt and athletic pants (we recommend avoiding shorts), and keep hair pulled back. Please don't wear jewelry other than a wedding band, and plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early.

Generally, yes — we keep classes age-appropriate. In some cases we can accommodate siblings in the same class, or make adjustments based on size and skill level.

New students do not spar. Sparring is introduced once a student reaches our Advanced Program and has learned proper technique and safety protocols.

Testing happens approximately every ten weeks. There are ten color belt ranks leading up to recommended black belt (Dragons advance by half-ranks), with up to nine black belt degrees beyond that.

Our Basic Program requires a six-month commitment. Our Advanced and Leadership Programs require a 12-24 month commitment.
